Twenty five runners are left in the world’s most prestigious Omaha tournament, the $10k PLO World Championship at the 2009 World Series of Poker.
Once just nine remain, the final table will be formed and brought to you live and exclusively from http://wsop.pkr.com. Watching this FT is a must for any Omaha player looking to raise their game.
Tonight’s broadcast is sure to be a star studded affair with the remaining field featuring plenty of big names including multiple bracelet winners Howard Lederer, Josh Arieh, Chau Giang and Barry Greenstein.
They’re joined by another three players – Vitaly Lunkin, David Williams and Nenad Medic – who are looking to add a second bracelet to their collections, with Lunkin going for bracelet #2 from this year’s series alone. There’s also the prospect of an intriguing reunion for Arieh and Williams, the second and third placed finishers from the 2004 main event.
Other names of note include popular Irish TV poker commentator Padraig Parkinson and British pro Robin Keston. Currently lying third in chips, Keston is such a huge Omaha fan that the youngest of his three children is called 'Holly May Omaha' (really).
We think that such dedication deserves a bracelet – but will the poker gods agree? Find out at http://wsop.pkr.com.
