Running so far below EV its unreal, today my EV was +$6.00 play 4NL I actual ran -$12 or so, 3 betting KK and AA and flopping sets getting all in and losing, playing good enough just pig sick, wining the flips for cents losing 80/90% for buy-ins, I know it will change, just hope its soon

Great laying with you last night. I don't play much, as you know, so nice to actually be at a table with someone I enjoy playing with when I get the occasional game in. BTW, the built-in speakers in monitors tend to be of a similar quality to those in laptops (i.e. a bit naff) so you might prefer to get external ones anyway. cclonline.com are good (I've bought several things from the including my current monitor). I've picked out a couple from there, that have built-in speakers and all connection options (including HDMI - Dell don't specify what connection types are on that graphics card so best to cover all bases): The 22inch "Iiyama Prolite E2274HD" @ £119.99, and the 23inch "Iiyama ProLite X2377HDS" for $147.97. Personally I don't think there's any need to go bigger than 23in. Without spending loads, larger ones don't have any more pixels anyway. Only go bigger if you have particularly poor eyesight, IMHO. You might decide to dual-screen at some point in the future (that PC's quite capable) so that would be another reason not to go too big.

If you want to get the monitor from Dell, I'd suggest the cheaper option they have listed for that PC (under the 'Build My Dell' tab), the 23in ST2320L. Bare in mind that it doesn't have built-in speakers so you'd need to add them too. At £180, it is a little expensive. Can buy monitors at least as good, with built-in speakers, elsewhere for less. I'm not so familiar with the NVIDIA graphics cards and find it harder to get assess their relative power just by looking at the stats. Not that there's anything wrong with NVIDIAs mind. My best estimate is that the GT 550 should be ok. The rest of the specs of the p6-2060 are good. The Radeon HD 6450 in the p6-2029 is certainly underpowered for multi-tabling (with high graphics settings) though so I wouldn't recommend.

Hi! The graphics card is the biggest consideration when buying a PC for PKR. Unfortunately there are so many it would be hard to list the good/bad ones. I know the ATI/AMD Radeon range best and of the current series, I'd want a 6570 or better (higher). Looking on the HP website, their Pavilion p6792uk model would do just fine.

cheers m8, done the destackers thing a few times, taken a break, moved down stakes etc etc, but to no avail. Not that I don't think its a good write up its brilliant, just not working out for me. Tried the cash tables aswell, today alone i have lost 6 BI's with monsters in my hand, Spudlew will back that one up, even he couldn't believe how many coolers I've had at that one table alone. Its not the decision making, its as you say, confidence in my hands and my play. I wouldn't mind a few comments if you would, on my post in the tourney section, every little helps. and once again, thanks. (I did win a lotto today into the main event lol so i suppose thats something lol)

Would have been great to have seen you at the FT - was cracking good banter, but enjoyed the support during your time in the tourney. Good luck with the smoking - difficult for me to understand how hard to give up as I have never smoked, but my dad passed away when I was 13 from cancer of the throat leaving me, my sister and brother without any parents (mum went when I was 6). I really hope that you can get away from the fags before you suffer too much damage to your health - you family and future additions are precious and very much worth your sacrificing the smokes.

Whats the feeling U have when U cough? your lungs get contracted, due to the involuntarie moovement that your Diaphragm makes. Thas also "kicks" your heart and can almost work like a forced push to your blood stream. Other thing U can do. Stand up (in case your sitting or laying down), legs straight up, then in a quick moovement bend your legs until your ass touches your heels, again coughing. The moovement will bring a even bigger push to your diaphragm (that will push under your lungs and give that "kick" to your heart).

ty but its what you put in, pick up or leave out when going over hh/advice that helps/makes your game. There are a lot of players who wont post hands which make them look less than gd but thats their loss imo and best way to learn. This games about cutting out leaks and grabbing any edge you can and thats what brings home 2.5k scores in 3k fields :P VWD again m8

PS If I didnt love the site and members I wouldnt be spending hours of my summer trying to arrange a PKR Southwest Meet, and as part of that working hard at trying to bring new players into PKR. Without any real support from PKR, and with out even promotional info from them. So I think that what PKR has given me IS being repayed to them....... so dont really think your comment about PKR giving me something is overly fair as I am going above and beyond the call of a PKR player to try and generate them new business and to offer the community something new! As for the forum post's I would not of posted on that thread, or some others but it annoys me when people post regarding the subject, often new to the forums, and people jump on thier case's for doing so, they IMO are entitled to voice their opinions and just show the amount of people that are genuinely frustrated by the changes, IMO they should not be shot down in flames, hence me adding my voice to back them up! I will take on board what you have said, and like I say regard you as a mate, I guess I just hate seeing what has happened to the Lobby that I have permanently loaded on my laptop this summer! not that i,m an expert on poker.. but when I felt as you do now.. I play $1-$2 tourneys.. drop my range and play any two cards within the first 3-4 levels.. its surprising how many times you hit.. this has also improved my game in the bluffing - raising and probabilities of low hands.. if the board comes low.. you know that mainly other callers have higher range cards.. you can take many chips with these.. its an extra part of your repertoire that others call donk moves ;) if my reasoning reads utter crap. please ignore.. if it helps.. your welcome :)
