As I say I know I am playing very tight in these games, and that this is unlikely to result in me hitting the FT or winning the MTT unless I run like a god! What I would be interested in from both you Disco and yourself Lemmo would be what sort of hands should I be looking to shove with! At the mo I tend to obviously go for PP's and Ak, AQ AJ and sometimes A10. Or if really short I try and find cards that are unlikely to be dominated eg 78 suited to try and aim for live cards and as many outs as possible (flush straight etc) But some suggestion on my shoving range would be really welcomed and importantly at what stage I should be looking to shove, I currently try to hold on for a monster until I get to say 4BB unless I am on the edge of a cash- cash increase in which case I can be even tighter!
Your help is sappreciated

Problem with last night in particular was that I managed to get myself chipped up with 60 left and tried opening up my ranged and then ran top pair (Q's) on the flop into a limped pair of aces, which cost me 75% of my stack, I was then left short stacked but still in the cashing places so waited to cash before shoving A6 which kept me in it again!

Cheers Lemmo, constructive criticism is always taken on board and appreciated. I am still trying to learn/develop my game so adivce is needed and welcomed. I must admit there have been a couple of times this week I have folded into the cash!
I seem to play a lot tighter in the 5k and other larger buy in's than I do in my normal stake games, its not a obvious concious decision but I have been on a rather bad run recently, and have been satelliting the 5k every time this week I have played it. As the tight approach seems to have worked in both this and the R2V league I think maybe sub-conciously I am tightening up to try to ensure that I make the money, as from a maximum of $8 buy-in making it to the money consitutes a good profit and when you have been on a downswing which counts for half your roll I guess I am trying to build the roll back up.
