Thanks for the message. PKR deleting that thread was a bit snide don't you think. I think they're trying to keep it quiet as they have either closed down or deleted any thread I have wrote on it.
I've already contacted Alderney and they have sided with PKR unbelievably. Feels like a bit of industry solidarity if you ask me but looks like I won't get what I think I deserve. Thanks for the advice anyway.

Mate the compliments tho big were not OTT imo. The only difference is that they play higher up. Ye 2D is mega different, tbh doing some calcs atm to see if I have enough time to bink my bonus cos then I think I'm 2D bound. Just running shit NL wise (PLO's diff cos you can run bad and still bink $'s on here cos the fields are just so bad) and need to be a nobody again and I'm sure you know what I mean. PKR just agrees with my cheeky character. A break is fine, no one can begrudge you that. Just come back stronger ;) and keep your close core friends close. Trying to keep everyone happy and giving urself to everyone is always gonna end in frustration.

I know for me its been in the back of my mind for 12months+ now that in order to progress as a player i should stop the build and withdraw cycle that i have always been acustom too.

just like to say to ya yurr articles on the forum kick started alot of my poker game.
Yu introduced me to the Tourney M and i still save to this day articles on beating the lower stakes.
Im not a massive poster on the forums at the best of times but i agree with ya they have been stale for quite awhile.
I picked this quote from destacker in yurr latest thread '' i know its probably the wrong time to offer advice but plz let your BR grow (instead of the withdraw then build, withdraw then build cycle) when the scores come back so that you can climb those stakes cos you so have the game for them.''
For 3 years i too have had this same problem, its not a major flaw, iv had some great times both on and off the felt due to building nice rolls.
The major hold back is we a constantly stuck grinding the lower stakes.
I feel yuu way more than me should be playing the high end of the mid stakes and above.

U know i was thinkin. Ur style is the LAG,isnt it?
imo to play a realy good lag game u need at least 30-40 BB. but i realized at PKR at middle stage of the mtts the avg stack is about 10-12 bb ..or sometimes less and just the chipleader has the 35-45 bb. unless u triple up ur stack in the 1st hour,u cant play a good LAG game cuz u dont have the right stacksize. so i just would like to ask u, did u tried any of the other sites? for examle the ps. i fink they have a lot of tournies with double startin stacks..
long story short,would it be easier to play LAG at other sites?
sorry if i told somethin stupid :) im just curious about this..

I'm interested to know how you get on with the cash game approach you are taking. Essentially I am doing exactly the same or trying to. I'm currently playing 25 nl but i'd love to know things like how long you play for each session etc and the ups and downs.
Every time i sit down i expect a profitable session, but like last night i ended up losing 2 buyins, and then all I am thinking is shall i go back to playing a tournament where i make my money and have got my roll?
a key issue i have is patience or lack of to play cash sometimes where as in a tournament i have it for some reason, so if your willing to share any thoughts, progress in a chat let me know, and I can drop you my msn or email.

tks for your congrats gary. in truth; i ran pretty good again, i got pretty lucky in a couple of pots to go from 2500 to 14000 in the two hands directly before the final table. was quite a long heads up too, esp given the blinds, so was relieved to get there in the end. another good finish for prettybullet tho. tks again for sorting it, because i do love omaha 8, and made special effort to play in the league to help support the game. be nice if it was more widely played. NLH bores me to tears! is it poss to get 'restrictions' sorted? don't know what/why they are but seems silly to have people posting on the forum that they want to play but can't. oh, and also, would it be poss to have at least one weeks as a 6-seat tourney? could go into the various reasons, but basically, they're just better. and sorry, whilst i'm here, what is the omaha showdown ticket? thanks again, mud.

Hey, as promised whats your viewpoint? In for example the 1500 gtd we were in earlier i.e. $5 buy in or a $3 buy in, if you get AQ or AK really early on, how do you best play them to get any value? It seems if i raise 2.5-3bb i always still get 3 or 4 callers, so should i just ship it all in and then get laughed at when everyone folds? Trying to understand the players at low levels is virtually impossible. Today i lost AQ in one tourney to Q7 - after he called my raise he hit his two pair, and i was gone upon raising all in?? any ideas?
