They also have some promotion going on every night. For instance, one night from 8 to midnight, it was $100 for high hand of the hour, each hour. There were only 15 people in the card room, so I won it once with a full house, and my husband won it once with a full house. Like Vegas, alcohol is free. And even if you do have to pay for food, the buffet is about 12$ at night. It is without doubt, the friendliest card room I've ever been in. All the staff know you within 24 hours by name. The manager deals sometimes if there aren't enough dealers arrived, and, when that happens, and the phone rings in the cardroom, he calls the cocktail waitress over to get the phone. I don't know what else to tell you about - if there's anything - just write me a message. McBet

Now - we aren't high rollers - we play 3/6 and 4/8. And we didn't know these people, so we didn't exect too much. But, as it turns out, they rate your time, and not the rake. From the 2nd day to the 7th, we didn't pay for any meals, and still have points left over. When we left, The Card room Manager told us that next time we should call the poker room to make the hotel reservation. They will charge is 30 a night during the week, and 40 on the weekend (as opposed to 50 during the week, and 90 on weekend). She said the requirement is 5 hours active play a day.

Hi, OK - I have time to write now about Tunica. So Tunica is a half-hour drive south of Memphis. It's just a whole area of cottonfields, with about 8 Casinos, although there are 3 different areas of Casinos. 8 miles between them. So you need a car to get around. We were there for a week, and it cost 250 for a car, which was great (there are shuttles, etc, but have limited hours. Anyhow - on the Casinos. We toured them all, but our favourite was Sam's Town, and we ended up moving over to their hotel, that's how much we loved their poker room - small - maybe 10 tables - and only 2 or 3 busy, unless there was a tournament on. tbc
