Hi Mate, Turns out the GP was the right choice last night,I ended up getting to the F/T with the CL. Played really well after that early luck in the end got involved in a big pot on dry board niether of us believed the other on a dry board I had A 10 he had AJ then me and another sortie got involved he shoved the button and i was SB and didn't believe him I called with Q 10s he showed 86o (so i was right) flop 863 and good night sweet prince he had me covered by about 900. Ended up getting 2hrs sleep lol. Anyway mate off to Cornwall in half hour so catch up with you Monday. Have a good W/end and hope you bink something.

Hi Modge, regarding your posts about bonuses being deducted from RB, I just thought I'd let you know that's not actually the case. Bonuses are deducted from the total rake paid figure before RB is calculated. i.e. If a player with RB pays $275 in rake to clear a $100 bonus, they'll still get RB on $175 of that. Hard to talk about this on the forum.

Hey Modge, np, it's was just annoying at the time to see a group like yourself, Chiv, Sini and Billy saying that, as I have the upmost respect for each of you. I did create some of those games and mostly at times when the forums were quite dead, and for my part it really was for fun, not for spamming, buy I do see your point and out of respect for you 4 I will not post in them in future, just means I have more time for my farm on facebook now lol ;)

well i ordered them a few days ago, and it says to allow 6-8 weeks for delivery... so i'll prob send out the invites on the day the arrive... and have the night 2-3 weeks later... so quite a while yet. figured saturdays are the most universally worker-friendly as it would give people sunday to make their way home. but basically me and dave have the freedom to bend our working hours to suit everyone else... so whatever's best i guess :)

dunno if you remember me saying... but to celebrate the arrival of my PKR chipset (ordered a few days ago) i'll be holding a PKR themed poker night at mine and Dave's (grandad20 whos popped up a few times in the forum recently). everyone will have to dress as their avatar, and we'll play some cash games (somewhere around 10p/20p with £20 max buy-in although we sometimes play with antes and a higher max.) maybe an SNG or two, and either play till the wee hours, or go go out and get pissed :)
basically, im just checking you're interested? if you got the train to manchester i'd pick you up, crash at ours and i take you back to the train station the next day. i know its a lot of effort but i just figured it'd be cool to have a few fresh faces amongst the regular degens i know.
