Get ranking points for playing real money MTT and Sit & Go tournaments on PKR! Points are allocated based on the tournament buy in, the number of entrants, how recent the tournament was and your final position (if you finished in the money) - based on the formula below.
There are two different tables where you can watch your progress - one for Sit & Go's and one for MTT's. All Real money Sit & Go's and MTT's give you ranking points except for Double Thru, Lottery, Terminator Xtreme, Terminator Two and satellite tournaments. For the purposes of standard Terminator tournaments, finishing in the money is defined as when a player receives a prize from the standard prize pool (winning bounty prizes only does not count as finishing in the money).
How points are awarded
Every player in a qualifying MTT or Sit & Go gets points for participating based on the tournament buy in, the number of entrants and how recent the tournament was. Extra points are earned when you finish in the money, based on your position. So, to come up with your rank we use the numbers on the table below and calculate it using this formula:
Rebuy tournaments
In rebuy tournaments the buy in for a specific tournament will be multiplied by three and this figure will be used for the buyin weighting factor (for example, a $5 rebuy tournament will be weighted the same as a $15 freezeout tournament - so will have a buyin weighting of 2).
[Points for money finishing positon (Table 1) + 2 points for participating] x Entrants weighting factor (Table 2) x Buy-in weighting factor (Table 3) x Time weighting factor (Table 4) = Ranking points per tournament.
Note: Time weighting does not count towards monthly MTT and Sit & Go rankings.
