How points are awarded
Every player in an eligible* MTT or Sit & Go gets points for participating based on the tournament buy in, the number of entrants and how recent the tournament was. Extra points are earned when you finish in the money, based on your position. So, to come up with your rank we use the numbers on the table below and calculate it using this formula:
[Points for money finishing positon (Table 1) + 2 points for participating] x Entrants weighting factor (Table 2) x Buy-in weighting factor (Table 3) x Time weighting factor (Table 4) = Ranking points per tournament.

Rebuy tournaments
In eligible rebuy tournaments the buy in for a specific tournament will be multiplied by three and this figure will be used for the buyin weighting factor (for example, a $5 rebuy tournament will be weighted the same as a $15 freezeout tournament - so will have a buyin weighting of 2).
*The only tournaments not eligible for ranking points are satellites, Terminators, Double Thrus, Break Thrus and freerolls
