Rebuy tournaments are available exclusively in multi-table formats. These events allow players to buy more chips once the tournament has begun, or to rebuy chips when they have busted their stack. Regular rebuy tournaments allow you to rebuy with an amount of chips that is equal to or less than your starting stack. An add-on is an additional portion of chips available to all players (regardless of stack size). The add-on is generally purchased at the end of the rebuy period at the same price as the initial buy-in.
Unlimited rebuy tournaments - like the 'Mega speed rebuy satellites' found in the MTT lobby - allow you to keep on rebuying twice each hand, as long as you have less than 100,000 chips. These tournaments see players from all staking ranges come together and either earn themselves a great value seat for a small stake, or be a bit more extravagant on the buy-in to get a bigger stack and a better chance of winning.
