Multi-table tournaments (MTTs) are scheduled events, meaning that they start at a specified date and time with players registering in advance. You can sign-up at any time for an MTT from the moment it’s posted in the lobby to a minute before the start (and PKR have plenty with guaranteed prize pools).
Once you’ve bought-in, you’ll start the MTT with the same number of chips as every other player (except in variable stack games which are described below) and you’ll be randomly assigned a seat. As the name suggests, the large number of entrants are seated at more than one table (either in tables of six or ten players).
As the tournament progresses and players get knocked out, tables are closed and players are re-seated to ensure that conditions remain fair. Eventually the tournament will get to the point where there are only enough players to sit on one table. The final few will then battle it out until one player has taken all of the chips and is crowned champion!

Variable stack tournaments
Variable stack tournament are when players start off with different chip stacks. Sometimes chips have been earned in a promotion before the tournament begins, or there may have been the chance to buy-in at different levels.
