Speed and turbo tournamentsSpeed and turbo tournaments are fun and fast ways to enjoy your poker. Sometimes you just don’t have time to settle in for several hours to play a tourney and that’s where speed and turbo tournaments come into their own. Featuring quickly increasing blinds and a starting stack of 1,500 chips, these tournaments require a much more aggressive strategy and feature plenty of action right from the start. 
Short-handed tournamentsShort-handed tournaments combine the skill and speed of a short-handed single-table tournament with the big prizes and excitement of a major multi-table event. Inspired by the inclusion of a short-handed no-limit hold ’em event at the World Series, PKR is one of the only online poker rooms that allows you to experience this fast, fun and rewarding tournament format. Unlike a standard multi-table tournament, where all players are placed randomly in tables of ten, PKR’s short-handed MTTs see the field distributed randomly at tables of six. Apart from that, short-handed tournaments function as standard multi-table events.
Deep stack tournamentsPKR’s deep stack tournaments give you more poker for your money. The opposite of a speed or turbo tournament, our deep stack events allow you to dig and really play some poker. With more than the usual number of starting chips and more time between blinds, these tournaments favor the calculating, conservative and experienced player. Deep stack tournaments are always freezeout multi-table tournaments.
Terminator tournaments With a portion of the prize pool going to a bounty on every player’s head, Terminator tournaments are all about taking the other guy down. A portion of the prize pool goes on to every player’s head (usually 50% but watch out for special tournaments where the proportion changes). If you take that player out of the tournament, their bounty is yours. The value of each player’s bounty is displayed on the table above their username. Find out more.
Phase tournaments Phase tournaments combine the fast-paced excitement of Sit & Go’s with the chance to go for big money payouts from small buy-ins. Buy-in at any phase and play your way through a format that works the same way as PKR Sit & Go’s. With low buy-ins at early phases and big payouts at the top, Phase tournaments give you maximum value (and excitement) for your money! And even if you don’t win your phase, you still get another shot if you finish in a good enough position. Finish on top you’ll go up - finish lower down and you can get another shot. Find out more.
